Beautiful harbor view made the stay nice.
Check-in was confusing, and the missing kitchen items were frustrating. The stairs to the room were dark and tricky. I found the lack of a handrail a bit concerning, especially considering my travel companion's age.

The staff was amicable, provided me with a spotless double room. The hotel was in a central setting right by the harbour in Mallaig❤

Ideal central location, not far from the train station and the ferry, Mallaig and many restaurants. Delicious breakfast to star a day with toast. Service-oriented and amicable staff with a good portion of humor.

fine harbor view, proximity to train station, nearby Co Op for groceries
The window's closing mechanism is a bit tricky, especially for those unfamiliar with it!!! A demo would be helpful!!! The shared kitchenette could use better organization, too!!! It's a bit cramped for multiple guests!!!

An efficient option for ferry connections, with a lovely view over the harbor and a spacious room equipped with modern amenities. The warm hospitality included a takeaway box lunch as we departed early, a thoughtful touch. Dining at the restaurant downstairs was a highlight, where the crepes were really good. Parking was tricky, and the shared kitchenette could be better organized.

Ideal for Couples Seeking Comfort
We received a warm welcome from Sharon who even confirmed our arrival times. The breakfast served was splendid, with fresh fruit and a cooked breakfast that just hit the spot, just perfect after a long day.
It wasn't exactly cheap,, but I can say it was acceptable for the value we received.

Sharon was super cute and helpful. The room was huge, had a nice view of the harbour and was double glazed, great for those long summer days with no dark. Breakfast was a feast that kept me going till afternoon. The ensuite bathroom was nice and had spa toiletries which was a nice touch. Comfy thick carpet.
The stairs were a bit tricky and dark, made of black slate so watch ur step. The window closing was a bit confusing at first but got the hang of it after a demo.

From the moment we arrived, the host made sure we felt right at home, and I loved that they provided a packed meal for our early check-out. There were great spots to just chill out and unwind, like the cozy lounge and peaceful garden. The only drawback was having to deal with street parking. just plan to arrive later when it’s free. 😊

Just a prime choice for a swift stopover in Mallaig with attractive and competitive value for money. I appreciated the complete kitchen, except for missing pots, a bit of a challenge to cook. Watch your step on the stairs. They're a bit tricky in low light.
